Artist Bio: A Not-so Creative

A recent graduate from the Yale-NUS College Arts & Humanities programme with a focus on Art Practice, Mae Hweei works with digital and film photography, sometimes making films and previously dabbling in improv comedy and painting.

Besides photographing places and people in transit, she's made films about ahbengs pursuing their stock photo modelling dreams and a young girl's giant imaginary bear friend. She’s hoping to do more creative work with community-centric projects, and most recently has been taking photos for Wan’s Ubin Journal’s House 6J Restoration Project.
